Panel discussion „The Multiannual Financial Framework as a Driving Force for a Strong Danube Region“

The Lower Austrian Liaison Office (NÖVBB) invites you to the panel discussion The Multiannual Financial Framework as a Driving Force for a Strong Danube Region on October 13th 2026 at 06:30 p.m. (doors open at 06:00 p.m.)

The discussion will focus on how the EU’s future Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) – and, in particular, the future structure of Interreg – can help to sustainably strengthen the regions of the Danube Basin and further develop their cross-border cooperation. Participants will jointly discuss the potential opportunities and challenges that the new financial framework presents for the regions.

At the same time, the discussion will examine the role of the regions in shaping the future MFF – particularly with regard to the needs of border regions and the continued involvement of Ukraine.
